Artworks on the Move
The City of Big Rapids has received a "Vibrant Small Cities Grant" which includes renovations to the Artworks building.
We have arranged to share space with Natural Beauty (located next door) while the building is being renovated. People are welcome to enter from Michigan Ave and from the alley parking lot. Artworks has also arranged exhibit space in Chemical and Fifth Third Banks, and classroom, storage and office space at Lake Osceola Bank.
We will resume occupancy of the building on October 15, 2009 and will reopen November 1 (All Saints Day), 2009. Completion of the project is scheduled for January 1, 2010.
