Watercolor Artist Marlies Manning

Marlies is a landscape architect, and watercolor artist. Marlies followed her interest in art and nature to become a landscape architect after working as a cartographer and graphic artist. Landscape architecture allows her to shape outdoor spaces, combine colors, textures, and art into a 3-dimensional artform. Watercolor is a 2 dimensional expression of Marlies' love of nature, blending colors, combining textures, and composing a scene. Marlies began painting in 2000 when she took a watercolor class at Artworks. She has been painting and striving to improve ever since.
