Watercolor Artist Jill Fonner

Living on the borders of Michigan's woodlands, Jill Fonner finds abundant inspiration for her award winning watercolors. Known for deep values and fine detail in her work, Jill has chosen to paint from direct experience the essence of the natural world. Her work has been accepted in numerous juried fine art competitions including many Michigan Water Color Society (MWCS), and National Watercolor Society (NWS) shows. U.S. Art magazine included Jill in the August 2000 issue featuring 25 artists. Her work has been seen in ARTtrends, U.S. Art, and InformArt magazines, and Women in the Arts magazine from The National Museum of Women in the Arts. Whisper was selected as "Editor's Choice" in U.S. Art's, March 2000 issue. In 2003, two articles appeared about Jill in InformArt magazine (See the Fall 2003 issue on Woodland Art by Tyler W. Chartier.).

In June 2006 her work was included in a presentation by Art-Exchange.com at the Neo-Con World Trade Show at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Jill is currently represented by ArtREPS in Woodland Hills, California.
